The aim of this education section is to promote an understanding of the
work of the Ensemble through workshops and seminars, and to inform via the
development of a complimentary on-line resource.
We can offer workshops on a wide range of topics relating to music and
sound. Our Fractal Workshop is an example of this, please click
here for the documentation. The fractal and photographic images are
also available from the Audio Visual resource.
Our aim is to enable students to explore, via our email project, the music of the 20th century, in discussion with composers and performers.
These seminars and email discussions act as an educational resource
available for use by 'A' level music students. They are of particular
value for the performance and compositional components. However, the
resource is also of value for anyone interested in new music.

Our first email project in 1999 was designed by Nigel Bartram to preceed EAE's concert of 20th. Century Music for 'cello and piano, supported by Hull City Council and York College. Evaluation of the project.
