(b. 1968 Singapore) and now lives in Paris. She studied for her PhD at York University where her teacher was Nicola Lefanu and then in Paris with Tristan Murail.

The composer writes: "The idea of 'la pierre magenta' is a calligraphic expression of the letters P and M on a sonic canvas. This piece was published by the Associated Board as part of their Spectrum 3 piano collection. The composer is currently working on 'piano peels' for piano and fixed support (CD) for the forthcoming Spectrum IV series.
