Although never previously performed publicly, this piece is seminal to my thinking in terms of a new mental music. Composed in Spring 1986,it is a short piece in two movements. The first movement presents a sequence of a short musical material, which I call 'forcefields'. Many of these notes are played extremely softly to help bring out the tension in the material. The first movement is called 'Prime' and is intended to prime the listener up for feeling the very energies of the forcefield.

The second movement is called 'Elicitation...... . Materialisation', and employs suitably irrelevant material, most of it soft and staccatissimo, which is intended to further strengthen the energies felt during the first movement.
